World Mode Malaysia is part of World Mode Holdings, a Japan-based group specialising in the fashion and beauty industry. Established in Kuala Lumpur in 2022, WMM combines the group’s regional expertise with practical knowledge of the Malaysian market.
THE FOUNDING SPIRIT
Keisuke Kafuku founded the company in 1999 after more than 30 years with Estée Lauder and Christian Dior. That same year, WMH was appointed to operate Sephora’s seven stores in Japan and recruit and train more than 300 beauty professionals.
When Sephora exited Japan two years later, the company helped those employees continue their careers. This people-first response shaped WMH’s development into the wider retail solutions group it is today.
