Lalaport BBCC offers customer experiences and services unique to a Japanese commercial facility

"Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre" (hereinafter referred to as Lalaport BBCC) opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 20, 2022 as the first Lalaport in Southeast Asia. In addition to popular brands in Malaysia and Asia, many popular Japanese brands are opening stores. LaLaport is committed to creating new customer experiences that combine the value provided by traditional commercial facilities with the latest consumer trends.

New stores will also open: Animate, which sells anime and manga-related goods (opening for a limited time on November 29th), street fashion stores Younger Song and 9090 (both opening on December 7th), and casual street fashion store WEGO (scheduled to open on December 20th). The LaLaport BBCC store will be the brand's first in Malaysia.

WMH and WM MALAYSIA provided a wide range of support, from expansion consulting to store management, to realize this first expansion into Malaysia.

Malaysia is a place where it is midsummer all year round and there are many different customs. How can Japanese brands survive here? What should we at WMH do to create new trends that will make customers who gather here enjoy themselves and want to come back?

There are many issues to tackle, and we are facing challenges every day. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the partners who are collaborating with us on this endeavor. What will we gain? Even though it is difficult to measure accurately, we were able to get to this point thanks to the advice we received day and night.

We will continue to provide maximum support for the opening of attractive Japanese brands at LaLaport BBCC and the growth of their businesses.
